How to measure you head

When you order toupee, you need to get exact size of your head.

If you cannot confirm whether you have right measurement . pls try the following way to

get a copy of your head. This will be great helpful .

Materials is easy to find.

A) plastic wrap B) tape C) Pen

(1) Cover your scalp with plastic wrap (Saran Wrap or any similar plastic wrap).

(2) Apply 3 layers of tape over the plastic wrap to keep the form in place.

(3) Draw a line on the plastic wrap that goes around your hairline.

(4) Indicate your hair pattern & part. Apply another layer of tape.

(5) With scissors, trim off the excess wrap along your hairline.

ok, you will get a great mold/pattern.

how to match hair color

Your natural hair sample:
Cut a small sample swatch of your natural hair about 1" long (3cm).

If you need to match specific areas of your hair, use the chart below for your hair samples.

Cut and label your samples as follows: 1 - Front2 - Temple (left/right)3 - Top Front4 - Behind Ear (left/right)5 - Top Crown6 - Back

In the last few days, i have shown you a lot of smooth mono filament bases, Today, i am going to show you a different one,





VT-013


As we can see this base, Easy to find that its much different from the bases that i've listed before.
Technically, this base is an all PU with Gauze. It has one layer of PU with a layer of gauze, and has another layer of PU. Many people might wonder that why should we use gauze? Well, Not only the gauze can make the hair hold better in the base,but also it can make the PU stronger ,and the PU will NOT be torn apart easily.
This base is designed for permanet attachment, and it should be ordered 4 or more units per year.
Okay,Let's talk about the silk PU. It's not too thick but a more durable base, I wouldn't suggest you to use this base for density that past medium, and medium to heavy densiy.
Another thing that makes this base so special is that it looks great with all styles and it is durable.

8 Kinds of popular materials for toupee base

In toupee base making, often use 8 kinds of materials:

Swiss lace, Most natural lace but not durable and do not recommend it for first time

2)

French lace , very natural lace, similar to swiss lace, but durable than swiss lace.

it is good materials to make body of toupee or wig.

Fine Mono - also called P-lace. It is a very durable, closely woven fine nylon mesh material. it also

Welded Mono - called #3 net. which is most popular materials in toupee field.

PU /Npu: PU is Clear polyurethane without gauze.

Mono Silk - A silky, fine, very closely woven polyester material, but looks like silk. It is not recommended for large areas in the foundation due to the difficulty in shaping this fabric, but is excellent for smaller areas. but it is necessary materials to make triple knot . because it look most like skin .

Small Hole Fusion - Woven material with six-sided, 1/4 inch holes. Large Hole Fusion - Woven material with six-sided 1/2 inch holes. Integration Material - A braided nylon sewing thread used to construct a foundation with any size holes.

Today, I am going to show you another new popular base design.

VT-010:

This is just another popular smooth mono filament design. There is a PU-Coated around temple ,sides and back. It also has a PU with silk front tab--this is for better hold of the hair.

What makes this base really special is that it has an extended part area of PU with silk(part can be left,right,or center). If you are the one that have defining parts, Well, this base is a good choice for you. As you can see, it has PU temple,sides and back,and PU with silk front and part, This base design is definitely one of the most durable smooth mono bases on the market that you can actually find. How to wear my toupee?

1) use clip to wear it. If you have much hair on your head,

we may sew clip inside of base. You wear it easily.

2)use tape to wear it .
I can offer tape at usd15/roll. Donot offer glue or remover.

Use it to attach any of our wigs comfortably and securely or use as double-sided fashion tape for holding low-cut clothes in place.
Because our toupee tape is on a roll it can be cut it to any size so it's easier to apply, versatile and extremely cost-effective.

As you can see this base design. This is a also smooth mono filament base. There is a soft see-through scalloped skin tap tab in the front.,you can require the scallops as small as standard, or you may order medium or large. I'm pretty sure that you might have a bit interest in our toupee base designs, So if you have read the articles about the toupee designs that i posted on this blog, I think you probably want to see more popular base designs, Here today i am going to show you just one of the most popular designs.





VT009:



Lets look at this base design, Seems much simillar to the VT007? Yes, but the only thing that keeps this base different is the it has a straight inner perimeter. Well the VT007 has a scalloped inner perimeter. And,on the entire perimeter,there is a soft see-through skin.This base is also made up with Smooth mono filament which you can see via the picture. If you are looking for graft or bond, this base is just the right choice for you. It can be taped but should be ordered 2 or more units per year. You see, the type of the bases that have 1/8" welede fine mono front edge gives more durability to the front, But not necessarily more natural.

Popular base design-VT008

Today ,i will show you another very good base design.





VT008:


As you can see the picture shown above, this base is also a smooth mono filament, But it has a thicker PU-coated above the smooth mono around the perimeter. In the front tab area, there is a silghtly wider part of PU with A double ine welded mono front edge. This double fine welded mono is also called soft lace or zima. Around the outside bond or graft area, This base is more durable to most clients. What makes this base special is that it appears an excellent tape on base. It is considered to be one of the most durable of smooth mono bases. To some bond or graft clients, this base should be ordered 2 or more units per year.

Popular base design-VT007

Hello everyone,Today i am going to show you another popular base design -VT007.

VT007:

As you can see,This base is also a Smoothe mono filament. There is a scalloped inner perimeter,which can minimize any style line that occurs along the seam.and this is also where two different materials join together. This base carries a 1/8" doubled fine welded mono lace(This can also be called a soft front or zima front).

Popular base design VT004-VT006

VT004:

This is a smooth mono filament(sometimes called an SB Net) in the front,top and crown. The front edge,in front edge,in front of tab, is 1/4" swiss lace with a soft see-through skin behind the lace and around the perimeter.Designed for permanet graft or bond but could be taped but not suggested.Should be sold as two or more systems as a graft or bond. The shorter amounts of lace front edges are a little more durable than the full 1" of swiss lace which were used on VT002 and VT003. The lace edge can be replaced.This base is the most natural hairline because of the "swiss" type of lace.It can be ordered with bleached knots.

VT005:

This base is similar to the base VT004. It is a smooth mono filament(sometimes called SB)with the front edge of 1/4" welded fine mono filament(stiff lace sometimes called P-Lace or Art Lace material)with a soft see-through skin behind the lace and around the perimeter.Suggest it be used for bond or graft attachment and ordered two or more systems.It has a good looking front but not quite as natural as the base VT004. The lace is also more unstable than the VT004.Tha lace front edge can be replaced and can be ordered with bleached knots.

VT006:

This base is a almost the very same as the VT002,It has the same smoothe mono top and crown but a smaller amount of it and a slightly wider perimeter of PU with silk.The inner section of the perimeter of this base is scalloped while the VT002 has the straight or standard inner perimeter.They both have the same Swiss lace with stitching to hold contour and retard(slow down)the ripping if the occurs.It should be sold in multiples of 3 or more per year.Can be ordered with bleached knots."Swiss "Lace is the most natural of all type of lace.

Toupee knowledge Chapter.1

Toupee has a very long history. For years, jokes and comedy routines frequently targeted the hairpieces, because back in the early days, the design of toupees were too fake, so it become very detectable even to some casual observers. Because of this problem.,Today many of partial hairpieces are called units, hair systems, or a type of hair extensions, though they all serve the same purpose.

Who should wear a toupee?
Many people maybe confused about if they should where a toupee or a wig. Well, many people suffer from hair loss problem, it is called “alopecia".or lose your hair as a result of chemotherapy.
These two problem may directly cause your baldness. So people that suffer hair loss problem may be disheartend. A toupee may be a better choice if the hair loss is minimal, and it can be used in conjunction with different products and treatments while hair is being restored.

After you read the above, I think you might almost figure it out what a toupee really is, and you should wear it or not. So if you think that you should wear one. Then it is very important for you to know how to order a toupee which can perfectly suits you.

The base( or cap) will be in contact with the wearer’s head, so the base is called the foundation of a toupee. And there are many different base materials for wearer to choose. So when you order a toupee, Make sure to know what your base material should be.

Here i am going to list some of my own toupee base collections for anyone that are interested in getting a toupee:

VT001:

As you can see the VT001 base is a cut- away or cut-down base.This base is a Fine mono filament,top and crown.with PU-Coated around the perimeter. It also has a soft see-through skin front tab.This base is ordered standard 7"x10" and can be cutdown to 6"x9" or 5"x8".Makes a very good tape on base and ca be attacthed by graft or bond.Note: If used as a permanent attachement,this base with its extra PU gives more area to bond as well as the back PU stops the "folding over"that sometimes occurs on the back of the clients head.Probably one of the more durable of the smooth designs.







VT002:

This base is a smooth mono with PU with silk perimeter and PU front tab just behind the 1" swiss lace tab area. Swiss lace has cross stitching to help hold the contour and stop ripping if it occurs. This base is designed for permenent attachment and should be sold in multiples of 3 or more per year. with great natural hairlines especially with bleached knots.The "Swiss lace front" is the most popular and the most natural of the lace front designed bases.

VT003:

This base is much like the VT002 above and is in every way except is has the 1"fine welded mono(stiff lace,P-Lace) front .The P-Lace front is a little more unstable than the swiss lace.It dose not and CANNOT have the cross stitching and if it starts to rip.Then it goes all the way to the PU line. However this makes a very good hairline and should be ordered with bleached knots. This base is designed for permanet attachment and should be sold in multiples of 3 or more per year.
