The V-31 is a fine welded mono (welded lace or stiff lace) top and
Crown with a 1” PU perimeter temple, sides and back. It has a
double layer of welded mono in the tab area that is cross stitched
for contour and more durability. This double layer of welded
mono is set back ¼” from the front edge and comes with the small
scallops as a standard design. This is a good alternative to a solid
fine welded mono because the doubled layer of welded mono in
the tab that holds up a little better; the PU perimeter gives a better
grafting or bonding area than the welded mono by itself. The E-31 is
recommended for permanent attachment but is a welded mono stiff
lace base that could be taped on. Recommended for 3 or more per
year for permanent attachment.
